Don't Just Pay the Ticket

Did you know that when you pay the ticket for a traffic offense you are pleading guilty?  When I ask people what their driving record looks like, I have often heard, "I don't have anything on my record.  I've gotten a few tickets, but I paid them so they should not be on there."

Instead of paying the ticket, get a free consultation.  Often times you will save time & money in the long run by hiring a traffic attorney.  When just pay the ticket, you could be increasing your insurance rates for years.

Points are added to and remain on your license for two years after conviction based on the Georgia Point Schedule.  If you receive 15 points within 24 Months, your license will be suspended.  Even fewer points suspend persons under 21 and minors.

Regardless of age or experience, nearly everyone gets pulled over for a traffic infraction.  Some of the most common infractions are contained in the lists on this page.  However, the Law Offices of Ian Whittle can help you with any traffic offense, big or small.

The Official Code of Georgia Title 40: Motor Vehicles & Traffic contains over 1,500 traffic laws, motor vehicle requirements, and road safety guidelines.  As a driver, you are charged with complying with the laws in the code whether you are aware of the law or not.  An experienced traffic attorney can guide you through the process of fighting a ticket and mitigating any fines, costs, or even jail time.
